..................................................................................................................................................This is a glitter painting of Nate's boxer Monti. He brought him in and placed him upon his Dad's desk and we took several photos of him which I still have on my computer. This photo was the best one to glitter. Monti was only 6 weeks old, he is now 4yrs old. He is soooo cute! To do this I printed the photo on acid free professional card stock and trimmed up the photo eliminating some parts of the photo. It is about 7 inches by 10 inches. I used tacky glue and glued the photo down onto foamboard and cut the foam board to size. Then I took a pen and traced around the sections that were going to be different colors of glitter. I used a toothpick and painted the glue very carefully in the sections and filled in the section with the color I chose. It was very fun. Of course, the glitter I use is a professional glitter made from glass. Its very fine. The result is a professionally done glitter painting with art glitter.
