I just found out today in the mail what my Grandmothers real name is. It is Alma Vivian Harris, she was the daughter of William Henry Harris and Mary Catherine Sanner. Which happens to be the middle name of our father. You know I always wondered about that name Sanner. She passed on her mothers last name and that was a grand idea. Its great. Alma was born on the 5th of March 1893 in Marion County, Hannibal MO. She worked at Dura Steel Co on Lindell Ave in Hannibal. Now I need to find out more information about Alma's husband, Arthur N. Gurry. She married him and I have only one photo of him and I thank God I do. I can tell he was a handsome man at one time. Together they had 5 children that I can tell. Mary Virginia, Raymond, Vivian, Helen Adline, and my father Billy Sanner Gurry. As I discover more information I will post to my website here.
