MAKING GREEN VEGETABLES TO FREEZE

Yesterday Dad and I went to Costco and bought some green vegetables. Broccoli, spinach, and asparagas. I chopped them all up and parboiled the food in a large pot. Make sure you have lots of gallon size freezer bags from Zip lock. After they are parboiled,  mix all your veggies together in a big bowl.  Then I put several mixed bags together and created my own frozen veggie mixture. I can do several things with them. I can saute them with chicken or beef. I can add them to any chinese dish or maybe make tempura out of them. All I have to do is microwave a bag full of these delectible goodies and my green veggies are ready to go.  I plan on buying fresh Kale leaves to chop up and add in the frying pan with these veggies. Check out DrKoz.com for the updates on green vegetables and see how they prevent cancer in our bodies and make your skin look younger and more healthier. So, buy lots of green vegetables, and dont be afraid to partially cook them ahead of time and make up your own packages. and put them in the freezer. You wont waste any greens this way. MOM
