MANZANITA LAKE -LASSEN PARK- DAY ONE

This is Manzanita Lake, just past the Museum as you enter the north side of Lassen Volcanic National Forest. This is a catch and release lake and you can canoe on it also. There are many other lakes in this forest and some have fishing available to keep. We have purchased our own tent, sleeping bags, and futons so we can go camping along Hat Creek soon. I love to fish and eat the trout up here.
