CREATING A GUEST AREA

We have been contemplating on how to create a spot for our guests and decided to buy an old trailer, gut it out, and create a guest bedroom area. So, I found a 20' Traveleze trailer on Craigslist. Phillip went down to Redding, paid $250 for it and he drove it home. Now, we are in the process of gutting it out. We almost have the whole thing gutted. The stove and trailer heater is still good so we will just sell it on Craigslist. This process will be documented here on my blog as we set about to create this small but fun project.
Next Friday we are hiring a guy to come here and take out some trees in the area adjacent to the house. Across the circular driveway is an oak tree that leaks sap and is very messy so that one goes. It is a beautiful tree but not practical for what we want to do. There are a few other trees that are in the wrong spots so they have to go to. The man who is taking them down will be here this Friday.  I cant wait for that to happen.  After he takes them down we will have to cut them up for firewood. We will have a lot of cutting to do but we will be stocked up in wood for several winters though.
Where the sappy oak sits is where the trailer will be parked. With its main door facing our front door. So, when someone comes to visit they will just be a few steps away from the main house, showers, and water closet. I will be taking photos soon. Stay tuned.
