GROUPER ST, OUR FIRST HOUSE IN THE PHILIPPINES

This  is the first house we lived in on the base. It was 2 stories. What fond memories I have of those days. Having our sons, bringing them home from the hospital and living each day like it would never end. Except that then I had 3 more babies to take care of. We had great dinner parties and invited high ranking military officers to begin with. We had lots of help though. We had 2 maids, yardboy, a seamstress etc. It didnt cost that much to have all that help. As a matter of fact, everyone on the base had a maid etc.  Living in the Philippines was really a good thing for us. Financially we made a good start here.The filipinos were great people and we had so much fun with them.
